It is unfortunate, but we must all admit that our vacation time is over and we have to get back on schedule. Fortunately for me, that is not until January third, but until then I will have my hands full with writing, watching anime, and looking into scholarships. Hard work as you can tell and many of us also have some New Year’s resolutions.
| Sound familiar? |
Now I hate the idea of these annual resolutions, they are asinine and for those who lack self-motivation. It is fantastic that people actually become aware of themselves and decide to change for the better, but do we need a certain day to do it? If we become aware of something we are doing wrong, why not change right away? In the end, it is just wasteful to wait for the new year to come around to change. Instead, change right away.
Even if we can recognize our need to change, it has no worth if we cannot go through with it. Most people say they will change, but they never do. That is why it is just as important to keep yourself motivated. I hit the wall the other day and when I hit the wall, I hit it hard. I literally sat still for hours, silently thinking to myself. I could not bring myself to eat, write, or even watch anime. It is terrible and if I can’t even do what I normally enjoy, then how can I change into who I want to be?
To keep myself motivated as well as potentially motivating everybody else out there, I will put out my resolutions. Let’s start off easy, just eating healthier and a bit of exercise. Now I don’t want to carve myself out of granite, but I can trim that little fat I do have. I want to cut back on the absurd amounts of pop I consume as well as exercising some more. Exercising just a little is healthier than none at all and it stimulates the brain by increasing blood flow.
If you are reading this, then it means I have made it this far already. After a somewhat motivational comment I received, I contemplated the thought for hours and decided to start a blog. Now I am not going to update you everyday with useless and senseless posting of what people always talk about. I want to post meaningful and engaging works, not that they are literary masterpieces either. What I want to propose is discussions on things like, "Why do we need a certain day or event to motivate us to do something?"
I also started a blog on a topic I love and enjoy, anime and manga. That one is called Alexander’s Anime Center. I love watching anime and in America I am a minority. I figure that I can bring something to the table as well as sharing my own thoughts on what I am watching. Just because you don’t like anime, doesn't mean you can’t read my stuff there. I am already working on something pertaining fanservice in anime and it can apply to all forms of media we observe. If you have no idea what anime is, then do not fret, I am also working on a quick starter guide for those who want to get the jist of what anime is. Just don’t call it cartoons, because I will get mad at you and be a jerk about it.

| Seven Days - Read my review of it, it is a must read. |
Lastly, my hardest and most difficult goal is communication. Because I suck at it. If you know me on some personal level, then you will understand my dilemma here.
Welcome to my blog Incoherent Discussions(I like the name). The discussions I seek will likely have no flow or coherency. I only promise to have one a week. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and enjoy your New Year before getting back into the groove of things.
